FifthSip is more than just coffee—it’s the rhythm of the city distilled into a quiet pause between moments, reminding us of life’s simple pleasures. Each sip is a chapter; by the fifth, the narrative comes alive: Flavor and feeling converge, craft meets community, and the ordinary transforms into something extraordinary. Here, the day doesn’t begin with haste, but with intention, as the aroma of possibility fills the air.

Our Story

In Vietnam, cà phê sữa đá—strong coffee poured over ice with sweetened condensed milk—is more than a drink. It's a daily ritual, a staple in every household where mornings begin with bold aroma and velvety richness.

Consumed almost every day, it’s a tradition deeply rooted in culture and community—uniquely Vietnamese.

At FifthSip., we grew up with this ritual in Southern California’s Vietnamese diaspora, where robusta coffee’s deep, chocolatey flavors were a constant. Unlike the floral, citrusy arabica beans found in most mainstream coffee, robusta offered something bolder—something unmistakably ours.

Inspired by its everyday role, we wanted to bring that tradition to New York City, where Vietnamese coffee is still relatively unknown outside a few mom-and-pop shops, pho spots, and family-owned cafes.

Through FifthSip., we aim to introduce the masses to Vietnamese coffee—celebrating its boldness, its ritual, and its place in everyday life.
